Morocco become the first team to be knocked out of the World Cup. They tried hard to get something from their match against Portugal but ultimately I think their loss to Iran was what cost them. They had to win that game to have a chance and when they lost, they were always going to be on the back foot compared to the other teams. They did well to keep Portugal to just 1-0, but had to score to stay in and they just didn’t have that quality at the end of the day.
