Rugby union fans love when Christmas comes around, it means that there’s just over a month until the start of the annual Six Nations tournament. However, for clubs in the English Premiership Rugby, PRO14, and French Top 14, the arrival of the Six Nations means they lose all of their key players for a couple of months, whilst they are on international duty.
Unlike in soccer, where international breaks mean the domestic program comes to a halt for a couple of weeks, in rugby, it carries on. The teams involved have to manage with the players left behind.
